Motivational people!

These are some of the people, who support, inspire or motivate me every day!

My Family: Dirk, Irene, and David

All of my close friends

More popular people

Jan Frodeno, He definetly is my biggest Inspiration and role model. By being very successfull and very professional he managed to take the sport to another level! I don´t only want to be as successfull as he is in the sport, but also want to have such a positive influence on another people like his sponsors fans and also competitors.

Yes Theory „A stranger is just a friend, you haven´t met yet!“ This is their slogan. Even though I wouldn´t consider myself as I shy person, I still admire their contact with strangers. After each of their videos, I want to leave my comfort Zone to grow my comfort zone! Seek discomfort!

Daniel Ryf, because she dominates the women field year after year. In other words, she wins nearly every race she competes. This dominance is something I venerate very much!

Lucy Charles, If I would bet on triathlon, I would bet she leads after the swim. This would be correct every single time. Coming from a swimming background, she got second at the world championship in Kona two times in a row. If she keeps working hard on the run and bike, she will definitely be a very big contender to become the world champion in the following years.

Laura Philipp, Just half a year ago Laura stepped up to long-distance triathlon. However, the first race she competed was Ironman Barcelona, which she not only won but she also took the title for the fastest female, German finisher of any Ironman race ever. It´s well worth to follow her journey by watching her well-produced videos on Youtube, in which she shares a lot about her training and her love for the sport.

Honourable mentions

Those above are people, who inspire me on a daily bases, but there are so many more, who inspire me as well: Adam Ondra, Anne Haug, Cameron Wurf, David Mcnamee, Eliud Kipchoge, Florian Wildgruber, GCN, GTN, Gustav Iden, Kristian Blummenfelt, Lionel Sanders, Maximilian Schwarzhuber, Patrick Lange, Peter Sagan, Ross Edgley, Vegan Cyclist, Vincent Luis, just to mention a few!

My Story

I don´t remember any time of my life without sport. I tried out way more than 15 different sports until I ended up with triathlon in the late summer of 2018. Football, bow and arrow and even riding are some examples. Since I played football for many years, my endurance has always been quite good.

Getting started

My father used to go running very often when I was younger. I was impressed by his ability to run but had never really been interested to try it myself. A few times I rode next to him with my bike, but nothing more. At the end of 2017, I decided to head out for a few runs to get a better endurance for football. After a few weeks, I started to enjoy running. I liked to be out in nature and I really enjoyed, that I got better.

First races

My father asked me if I would like to do the Strongman Run in Summer of 2018. Even though, we wanted to do the run with a few friends, we only ended up with four people in total: My father, my brother, a friend of my father, who was only able to do one round (10 kilometers) because of health issues and I. Although, we ended up to only be three people out of ten, who did the full 20 kilometers, I fell in love with running and the whole preparation for races. The race was on the 14th of July, on the first day of our summer holiday. In conclusion, this has been my first big race and I wanted to do it again!

Getting into biking

Just before this race, I decided to make the road bike of my father capable of riding again. During our family holidays my brother and I rode up some mountain passes with our Mountain bikes and I always told him, how cool it would be to ride those with a road bike. Till this day I only drove to school a few times with the road bike, but haven´t done any tours, which changed quickly afterward.

Training got more

Just a few days after I was home again, I bought a sports watch to keep track of my activities. I started to bike and swim at the beginning of August and it got more and more. However, I didn´t progress too much because I didn´t have a training plan, nor a goal to train for.

Training got more serious

In late September I set my goal, to finish an Ironman. Firstly, I gained knowledge about training by reading a lot. At the end of Oktober, I was ready, I started to train with a training plan and didn´t have to wait for results for long. Since then I´m training consistent and I do improve very much. In January I decided to join the Tsv Jahn Freising, especially to have a swim coach and within one technique session, I was able to reduce my 1000 Meter time by two whole minutes. In other words, I was able to get about 10 percent quicker within one session!

On the way to become a pro

Even though I´m quite young in the sport my passion grew day by day. Soon I started to get ambitions to become a pro. Since then, I try to become quicker, more professional and more successful every day! So If you want to see, where I´m at my journey to win Ironman Hawaii you should check out my Instagram as I update you there very regularly.
